looking down into black velvet canyon from the 10th belay of epinephrine. my toe is pointing at two other climbers (actually friends of ours from the gym, each only a few black pixels) on another route that ascends the enormous black velvet slab. i'd guess that from this location we are about 1500 feet from the canyon floor.
