in chiang mai, we stayed at what must be one of the coolest hotels on the planet, the dimunitively titled "D2." ultra-trendy and quirkily modern (the lobby christmas tree was made from orange feathers), everything was accented with warm orange and yellow tones, including the bellhops' suspenders, elevator buttons, and this consultation/check-in area where jennifer is blissfully seated. if jennifer and karsten made a hotel lovechild, it would be D2. as you can imagine, jennifer was very happy there.
